This Lunar New Year, peerless refinement leads the way.
To mark Lunar New Year, the brief was to develop a singular, high-impact creative concept for the launch of Range Rover SV Black — the most powerful expression of the SV lineage. The campaign required a suite of master animated stills designed for Social, Digital Experience (DX) and CRM, tailored for the China, Taiwan and Australia markets. As a fully digital-first campaign, the visuals needed to embody modern luxury and quiet authority, while drawing subtle inspiration from the spirit of Lunar New Year without compromising the global Range Rover aesthetic.
The central challenge was to create an elegant, cinematic environment that felt immersive and emotionally resonant, yet restrained. The Lunar New Year theme had to be expressed with sophistication, avoiding clichés and overt symbolism, instead conveying confidence, renewal and composure through atmosphere, light and form. The concept needed to hold across multiple executions while ensuring the vehicle remained the undisputed focal point, communicating supreme comfort, control and effortless power.
The creative direction reinterpreted Lunar New Year through a unified architectural language, sculpted forms and warm, diffused natural light. Rather than relying on literal motifs, the environment suggested prosperity and renewal through refined colour palettes, depth and spatial harmony. The concept was explored through a series of considered close-ups and perspectives, revealing material richness, detail and spatial nuance. Advanced AI tools were used to craft the world with meticulous attention to scale, realism and material integrity, ensuring a premium and believable visual language.
Working closely with the global CGI team, the Range Rover SV Black was seamlessly integrated into this bespoke environment. Precise calibration of lighting, reflections and surface detailing ensured the vehicle's sculptural presence remained dominant, reinforcing its strength, composure and unmistakable luxury character across every frame.
The result was a cohesive, future-facing visual system that elevated Range Rover SV Black across multiple markets. A single, refined concept enabled scalable, high-end assets across Digital and CRM, delivering strong regional relevance while maintaining global brand consistency, positioning Range Rover SV Black as the embodiment of effortless power and contemporary refinement.
